Note from the babywearing geek
The ISLA stretchy wrap is approved up to 14 kilos – this approval (for all carriers) refers only to safety – not comfort. In a stretchy wrap, baby will often start to feel heavy at around 7 kilos. A one-way stretchy wrap often feels supportive for longer than a two-way stretchy wrap. For the most comfortable carrying over 7 kilos, I recommend switching to a woven wrap or a structured carrier.
